Kid Friday Taped by CBS TV For Upcoming Feature

Hey, is that your new logo above?  Cool.

Anyway, while recording the latest Kid Friday Podcast (show 113), Hannah, Zoe, and Dave weren’t the only ones in studio 1A.

The local CBS television crew were visiting us for a story that will run sometime next month.

They shot Hannah and Zoe using tech in Hannah’s room

They even taped Hannah and Zoe with our family pet, Winston the standard poodle.

Hope the story turns out good!!  They were super-nice and it was a fun experience.

We’ll keep you updated and make sure it’s available to view for all Kid Friday listeners.

Like Google? Like TV? Then You're In Luck!

Rumors have been flying about some big changes for Google TV, and now it looks like we’re going to be hearing something official tomorrow — Google posted cryptically on the Google TV Facebook page this weekend, saying only, “Get ready for Monday, we have some big announcements!” We won’t know for sure until tomorrow what Google has to unveil — we’ve heard rumblings of a Google-branded home entertainment device, though it could also be the yearly update Google promised back in January. Of course, we’ve also heard that LG is going to be the hardware manufacturer in a halo device partnership for Google TV — could we be seeing the first Nexus TV tomorrow? We’ll be on the lookout for whatever Google has to show, but regardless it certainly looks like Google’s making good on its promise to keep working on Google TV.

An Apple Television Set With Included Siri? Yes, We’ll Take One!

Apple television

Apple’s full-fledged television set will arrive at the end of 2012 in three screen sizes, maxing out at 55 inches, a new rumor claims.

Citing sources in Japan, Australia’s SmartHouse reported this week that the new Apple television will also come in an entry-level size of 32 inches. It did not indicate exactly what screen size the third model would feature, falling somewhere between the low end with 32 inches and maximum size of 55 inches.

The report said it’s a “major Japanese company” that’s involved in manufacturing Apple’s rumored television set. Echoing previous claims, the report said that the Apple television will feature Siri integration, allowing users to control the TV set with their voice.
